SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Following a 1-0-1 week which included a 3-2 OT win over Babson and a 1-1 2OT tie against Roger Williams, Endicott keeper Katie Donnelly (Madison, Conn.) received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week honors for her efforts.  The award was announced by the CCCC Conference office on Monday. 

In the team's 3-2 OT win over Babson, Donnelly made two saves big saves to limit a Babson offense to two goals.  The loss is still the only setback for the Beavers who currently sit at 7-1-1 (2-0 NEWMAC).

Donnelly followed that performance up with a huge match, especially in the second half, against CCC rival Roger Williams.  The two teams have combined with win all of the last 11 CCC titles, with Endicott holding a 7-4 edge.  In the match on Saturday as part of Endicott's homecoming, Donnelly made a season high 10 saves against the Hawks to preserve a 1-1 draw.
