NEWPORT, RI - The Endicott College women's soccer team ended Salve Regina's playoff hopes with a 2-0 shutout win over its TCCC counterpart to close out the 2007 regular season.

Endicott (13-5 overall, 11-2 TCCC) broke a scoreless tie in the 33rd minute as sophomore Caitlin Flynn (Southold, NY/Mattituck) notched her 12th goal of the season on a nice feed from freshman Kayla Plante (Sanford, ME/Sanford). The Gulls held the 1-0 advantage until the 86th minute, when they sealed the deal with a Cali Collin (Plattsburgh, NY/Plattsburgh) goal assisted by Ashley Clark (East Kingston, NH/ Pentucket Regional)

With the win, Endicott locks at least the No. 2 seed in the upcoming TCCC Tournament. The Gulls will begin the conference playoff with a home game on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with the opponent to be announced later this week.
