BEVERLY, MA - Junior striker Paula McGinn (Lynn, MA/Lynn Classical) was named Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Year for the second year in a row. The announcement came prior to Endicott's 2-1 win over Roger Williams in the CCC Tournament Final on Saturday and it is the fourth consecutive year that an Endicott player has received this award.

McGinn, who was also a first team All Conference selection, helped pace the Gulls to a 15-3 regular season record leading EC with 24 goals and adding three assists for a staggering 51 points.

Caitlin D'Amario (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow), Margreta Weber (Bedford, NH/Manchester West) and Staci Wiencko (Pembroke, MA/Notre Dame Academy) all earned Second Team All Conference honors for the second straight year.

D'Amario helped power a Gulls offense that out scored opponents 73-22. The tri-captain was an offensive force as she netted twelve goals and had five assists for 29 points, she also created a number of other scoring chances with her smart decisions and excellent touch.

Weber scored two goals and added four assists for eight points, but more importantly helped control the flow of the game with her toughness in the midfield and her ability to distribute and switch the point of attack.

Wiencko, a tri-captain, anchored a Gulls defense that posted nine shutouts and allowed just 22 goals. She is a leader on the field, directing her teammates and constantly communicating.

Sophomore Shannon Pilsbury (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) received Honorable Mention All Conference honors for her play at midfield, while second year head coach Jodi Kenyon was named Commonwealth Coast Conference Coach of the Year for leading EC to its fourth straight CCC Championship and NCAA Tournament birth.

The Gulls kick off the NCAA Tournament Saturday with a first round match against Union College in Schenectady, NY at 1:30 pm.
