LEWISTON, ME - In a non-conference match-up the Endicott women's soccer team lost to NESCAC foe Bates College on Monday, 5-0. The Gulls which went into the game on a ten game winning streak were held to eight shots in the contest.

Bates struck in the first half of the game as Junior Molly Wagner netted a long range shot over the outstretched arms of senior goalkeeper Tina Loguidice. After several breakaway opportunities that were shut down by the Bobcats defense the Gulls went into halftime trailing only by one.

In the second half Bates came out firing as Wagner once again struck a shot from just outside the 18-yard box three minutes into the second half to put Bates up by two. The Bobcats would score three more times in the second half to seal the win.

Loguidice made nine saves in net for the Gulls while sophomore goalkeeper Mia Lidofsky made five saves and shared the shutout with junior Nini Spalding.

Endicott (12-2, 9-0) will return to conference action on Wednesday as they travel to Nichols College (3-8-2, 0-6-2) to take on the Bison at 4pm.
