Dec. 12, 2005

BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College strikers Paula McGinn (Lynn, MA/Lynn Classical) and Caitlin D'Amario (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow) were named to the 2005 NSCAA/Addidas All-New England Second Team on Friday, December 9, 2005.

McGinn, who earned Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Year honors in November, piled up a conference-high 21 goals and 47 points in 19 games, including 16 goals and 37 points in 12 conference games. D'Amario followed suit, scoring 12 goals with five assists for 29 points in 19 contests and had nine goals for 22 points (which ranked second in the CCC behind McGinn) in 12 conference games.

"I am extremely proud of these young women," said Endicott head coach Jodi Kenyon. "They are very deserving of this honor and both players have displayed an extremely high offensive output during the season. Both Caitlin and Paula will return in 2006 and should lead the offense for a second consecutive year."

McGinn was a CCC first team selection while D'Amario earned second-team CCC honors. The forwards were catalysts for EC winning its third straight CCC title (5th overall) and earning an automatic NCAA Division III Tournament berth. The Gulls finished 15-4-1 overall.
