Gulls Ranked #1 in the CCC Preseason Poll

As the defending Commonwealth Coast Conference Champions, the Endicott women's soccer team is this year's number one pick in the CCC Preseason Poll, as voted on by the head women's soccer coaches. The Gulls finished the 2003 season with an overall record of 18-3-2, and went undefeated in the CCC, winning all twelve, conference games. "The rankings are great motivators for our team," Head Coach Dina Gentile said. "While the rankings are important, we stress that starting at \#1 is not as significant as finishing at the top in November." The women were also recently recognized in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (N.S.C.A.A.) New England Regional Poll. In the Division III, preseason poll, Endicott is ranked 5th, their best ranking in the program's history. Last season, Endicott was ranked 10th in the N.S.C.A.A October poll. "Being recognized in the CCC and in New England as a top team is an honor and we will try to live up to these accolades as we train at each session throughout the season," Coach Gentile remarked.
