BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 2 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team defeated UMass Dartmouth, 59-0, on Saturday evening at Hempstead Stadium.
Tess Merrill (Greenwich, N.Y.) guided the Gulls offensively with two tries and three conversions.
Jourdan VanAmburgh (Selkirk, N.Y.) and Brooke Stoncius (Litchfield, N.H.) scored two tries apiece, while Cassidy McElhinney (Natick, Mass.), Caitlin Burke (Dudley, Mass.), Kaitlyn Quinn (Salem, N.H.), and Kylie Breen (Norfolk, Mass.) all found the try zone once.
Elektra Cheney (Collinsville, Conn.) also chipped in with three conversions, while McElhinney rounded out the scoring with one conversion.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (3-0) hosts Wentworth on Saturday, October 15 at 12 PM. Saturday's match will serve as Senior Day for the Gulls.
