Nicole McCardle Invited To NSCRO 15's Select Side Camp

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott club women's rugby student-athlete Nicole McCardle (Castleton, Vt.) has been selected to the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) 15's Select Side Camp at Neumann University in Philadelphia, Pa. on June 2nd through June 6th.

The camp will be held in conjunction with the USA U20 Women's National Team (WNT) Camp. At the conclusion of the camp, there will be games against the USA U20 Women's National Team on Wednesday, June 5th and Thursday, June 6th. Being selected to partake in this camp, it will allow McCardle to play with the best players from other small colleges and the potential to be viewed by the USA WNT program staff.

McCardle, being one of the most decorated players in women's club rugby program history, individual accomplishments include: being named the 2018-2019 Outstanding Female Club Athlete of the Year, played in the 2018 Las Vegas Invitational, chosen as one of 12 student-athletes in NSCRO 2018 All-Star 7s competition, and finally being a 2018 Cianci 7s Memorial Collegiate Tournament participant. 

YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott posted a 31-7 overall record and earned third place in the NSCRO 7s National Championship along with being ranked as high as No. 16 in the NSCRO Top-20 rankings. The 31 wins on the season are the most in program history and are a six-win improvement from last season.
