Women’s Rugby Finishes Third At NSCRO 7s National Championship

CHESWICK, Pa. — The Endicott club women's rugby program finished third overall at the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) 7s National Championship this weekend.

After going a perfect 4-0 in pool play on Saturday, the Gulls fell to Rochester, 17-0, in the final four round but bounced back in the third place match with a gritty 12-10 win over Simpson.

Overall on the weekend, Endicott went 5-1. The Gulls also saw Nicole McCardle (Castleton, Vt.) earn a spot on the NSCRO 7s National Championship All-Tournament Team.

YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott posted a 31-7 overall record and clinched its circuit to earn a spot at this weekend's NSCRO 7s National Championship.
