ORONO, MAINE – The Endicott women's club rugby team went 4-1 at the University of Maine 7's tournament on Saturday evening en route to clinching its circuit and securing a spot in nationals.
The Gulls earned their four wins with triumphs over the University of New Hampshire (36-15), Stonehill (36-5), Boston University (26-21), and host University of Maine (33-7). Endicott ended up falling to Boston University, 20-5, in the championship but what mattered most was their win against the University of Maine. That victory clinched the circuit for the Gulls and punched their ticket to nationals.
