BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott club women's rugby program finished with a 3-1 record after hosting its first 7s tournament of the spring season. Over the course of four matches, the Gulls outscored their opponents 123-25, as they defeated Colby Sawyer (20-10) and Wesleyan twice (37-0 & 56-0), before losing to Bentley University (15-10).

Standout performances were put forth by numerous Endicott student-athletes throughout the day. Sophomore Amanda Poulin (Turner, Maine) led the charge after tallying six tries and four conversions, while sophomores Gianna D'Aprile (Millis, Mass.), Emily Redlon (Concord, N.H.), and juniors Margaret Birge (Rindge, N.H), and Samantha Hontas (Lyme, N.H.) also contributed to the scoring efforts.

"The team is coming together really well," said Endicott club women's rugby head coach Emily Record. "It's great to see our hard work paying off and to see the student-athletes executing what we have been working on Monday through Friday."
