BEVERLY, Mass. – The second-seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team (11-6, 7-1 CCC) is set to host seventh-seeded Wentworth (4-9, 2-6 CCC) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament Quarterfinals on Friday, April 29 at 6 PM. Here's a preview of the playoff matchup.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls are undefeated in the all-time series versus the Leopards (9-0).
- As a team, Endicott is positioned second in the CCC in goals (146) and first in assists (100).
- Wentworth is 2-5 on the road while Endicott is 5-4 at The Nest this season.
- Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) ranks third in the conference with 118 total saves.
- These two programs clashed in their regular-season finale, resulting in a 20-2 victory by the Gulls on 4/26/22 at Sweeney Field.
WHAT'S NEXT
The winner of No. 2 Endicott and No. 7 Wentworth will advance to the CCC Semifinals on Wednesday, May 4, and play the winner of No. 6 University of New England and No. 3 Western New England (time TBD).
