Women’s Lacrosse Downs Curry, 19-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated Curry, 19-1, in conference action on Tuesday evening at Hempstead Stadium.

Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine) paced the Gulls with a season-high eight points (4g, 4a).

Endicott also saw Katie Wagner (Brewster, N.Y.) compile five points (2g, 3a) and Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.) notch four points (1g, 3a) to round out the rest of the offensive highlights in the victory.

In goal, Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) stopped four shots and allow zero goals in 45 minutes of action to improve to 9-5 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls did not allow a goal until the 2:50 mark of the fourth quarter.
  • Endicott is 23-3 all-time against Curry (16 straight victories).
  • The Blue and Green have won three games in a row (Salve Regina 19-9 | Western New England 17-13).

Endicott (9-5, 5-1 CCC) travels to Williams tomorrow for a 4:30 PM matchup. Curry (2-12, 1-6 CCC) hosts the University of New England on Wednesday, April 27 at 4 PM.
