CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 1 Endicott Set To Host No. 2 Roger Williams On Friday (6 PM)

CCC TOURNAMENT BRACKET 

BEVERLY, Mass. — The first-seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team will host second-seeded Roger Williams in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament championship on Friday, May 3 at 6 PM. Here's a preview of this week's playoff contest.

THE MATCHUP

Earlier this season in their lone regular-season matchup, Endicott handed the Hawks a 15-4 loss on Saturday, April 20. (RECAP | BOX SCORE).

Meanwhile, the Gulls lead the all-time series, 23-4, and Endicott has won the last five meetings. Last season, the Gulls and the Hawks met in the CCC Championship game and Endicott posted a close 11-9 victory. 

HOW THEY GOT HERE

Endicott defeated Western New England in the CCC semifinals on Tuesday, April 30 by a score of 19-3 (RECAP | BOX SCORE).

SCOUTING ENDICOTT

The Gulls lead the CCC in goals per game (20.88) and goals against average (3.63) in conference-only games this season.

Individually, Endicott's top-three point-getters include Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.), Jackie Healy (Northborough, Mass.), and Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Conn.). Lacroix leads the group with 67 points (53g, 14a), while Healy ranks second (24g, 23a), and Feigenbaum is positioned third (21g, 21a).

SCOUTING ROGER WILLIAMS

The Golden Bears are second in conference-only games in goals per game (17.25) and goals against average (4.88).

Individually, Roger Williams' top-three points leaders include Emily Stoeppel (Brookfield, Conn.), Ashley Warren (Wilmington, Mass.), and Devon Sarazin (Falmouth, Maine). Stoeppel currently has 79 points (55g, 24a), while Warren has recorded 61 points (35g, 26a), and Sarazin has notched 51 points (34g, 17a).

WHAT'S AT STAKE

The winner of Friday's game will be named 2019 CCC Champions and will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
