Rino, Lantieri Claim CCC Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

CCC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) and freshman Julia Lantieri (Glastonbury, Conn.) have claimed Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Rino was named the CCC Defensive Player of the Week, while Lantieri earned CCC Rookie of the Week accolades.

Last week, Rino helped Endicott close out its regular-season with a perfect 7-0 conference record as the Gulls defeated the University of New England (UNE) in the finale on Wednesday (April 24). Rino played all 60 minutes, making nine saves and surrendering seven goals. She finished the week with a 56.3 save percentage.

Meanwhile, Lantieri contributed two goals to Endicott's 20-7 regular-season finale win over UNE last Wednesday. She scored her two goals on five shots and also collected three ground balls, won two draw controls, and caused one turnover.

First-seeded Endicott hosts fifth-seeded Western New England University in the CCC Semifinals on Tuesday, April 30 at 7 PM.
