Lacroix, Rino Earn CCC Player Of The Week Awards

CCC WEEKLY AWARD RELEASE

BEVERLY, MA. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team saw Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.) and Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) pick up Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday. Lacroix was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Rino was selected as Defensive Player of the Week.

Lacroix compiled an eight-point week for Endicott, including a seven-point performance against conference rival Roger Williams. Lacroix opened the week with a goal against No. 14 Bowdoin before scoring six goals and one assist in a win against the Hawks. The junior also had five draw controls against Bowdoin.

Rino went 1-1 in goal for Endicott this week. Her loss came against No. 14 Bowdoin in a contest in which she made eight saves in just 30 minutes of play. She rebounded for the Gulls' conference matchup with Roger Williams. She made nine saves while surrendering only four goals to earn the key CCC victory. She posted a 10.67 goals-against average and a 51.5 save percentage during the week.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls (11-5, 7-0 CCC) finish out the regular season with a 4 PM contest at UNE on Wednesday, April 24.
