Women’s Lacrosse Tops Nichols, 24-1

BEVERLY, Mass.  – The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated Nichols College, 24-1, on Wednesday evening in conference action at Hempstead Stadium.

The Gulls built up a 16-1 lead at the half and were never challenged the rest of the way.

Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.) led Endicott offensively in the opening stanza with five goals and two assists for seven points.

Meghan Dutchyshyn (Cheshire, Conn.) also chipped in with a hat-trick, Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Conn.) registered two goals and an assist, and Jackie Healy (Northborough, Mass.) contributed one goal and three assists to round out the list of highlights in the opening half.

Overall, Lacroix finished with seven points, while Dutchyshyn (4g), Healy (1g, 3a), and Feigenbaum (2g, 2a) all concluded the contest with four points. Julia Lantieri (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Aleah MacKay (Bedford, N.H.) also matched the aforementioned trio with four points each (Lantieri – 2g, 2a | MacKay – 1g, 3a).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott improved to 19-0 in the all-time series against Nichols today.
  • The Gulls are 4-1 at home this season.
  • Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) made three saves in the first half to bump her record to 7-4 on the year.
  • Endicott's offense featured 13 different goal scorers.

Endicott (9-4, 5-0 CCC) travels to Western New England on Saturday, April 13 at 1 PM. Nichols (2-10, 0-6 CCC) hosts Curry this Saturday at 2 PM.
