Endicott Picked First In CCC Preseason Poll

2019 CCC PRESEASON COACHES' POLL RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office has announced the women's lacrosse preseason coaches' poll and Endicott took the top spot for the second season in a row.

The two-time defending CCC Champions earned a total of 81 points and all nine first-place votes. Roger Williams was close behind in second place with 72 points.

The University of New England secured the third spot with 53 points, while Western New England slid into fourth place with 50 points. Salve Regina and Gordon earned fifth and sixth places with 48 points and 45 points, respectively. 

Rounding out the poll were Curry (22 points), Wentworth (20 points), and Nichols (14 points).

Endicott (14-4, 8-0 CCC in 2018) opens the 2019 season in Hempstead Stadium against Wheaton (Mass.) on Saturday, March 2 at 3 PM.
