CCC SEMIFINALS: No. 1 Endicott Set To Host No. 4 Salve Regina on Tuesday Night (7 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 1 seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team will host the semifinal round of the Commonwealth Coast Conference tournament this Tuesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. and will faceoff against No. 4 Salve Regina.

During the regular season, Endicott and Salve Regina met on Saturday, March 24 and the Gulls came away with a 19-5 victory.

SCOUTING ENDICOTT (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): The Gulls finished the regular season with a 12-3 overall record and a perfect 8-0 mark in CCC play.  Leading Endicott offensively is Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.) with 59 goals (ranks 4th in CCC), 15 assists and 74 points (ranks 5th in CCC). Meghan Dutchyshyn (Cheshire, Conn.) has also been an offensive contributor with 39 goals and 11 assists for 49 points. 

Freshman Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) has been a key player on both ends of the field as she has recorded eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points, as well as 72 draw controls, 51 ground balls (8th in CCC), and 22 caused turnovers. 

Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) has amassed a 12-2 record in net for the Gulls so far this season. She ranks first in the CCC in both save percentage (57.0) and goals-against average (6.48).

SCOUTING SALVE REGINA (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS):  The Seahawks wrapped up the regular season with a 7-9 overall record and a 5-3 record in the CCC. Salve Regina defeated No. 5 Gordon, 22-9, to advance to the semifinal round. 

Leading the Seahawks offensively are Maddie Villareal (Portsmouth, R.I.), with 47 goals and 14 assists for 61 points, and Katie Kline (Brookfield, Conn.) with 44 goals and six assists for 50 points. Kline also is fifth in the CCC in draw controls (83), while Lindsey Smith (North Attleboro, Mass.) ranks 6th in the conference in caused turnovers (32).

Christine Myers (River Edge, N.J.) has a 7-7 record in the net for Salve Regina. She has a total of 176 saves on the season (3rd in CCC), a 50.9 save percentage (2nd in CCC), and a 12.41 GAA (4th in CCC).
