HEAD COACH MORGAN MACIEWICZ' POSTGAME INTERVIEW
BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 2 seed Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated visiting No. 3 seed UNE, 14-10, Wednesday evening in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinals at Hempstead Stadium to advance to the title game for the 11th time in the past 12 seasons.
In a matchup of teams who saw each other one week ago to the day in the regular-season finale, the Gulls and Nor'easters faced a familiar foe as the teams played a back-and-forth first half with Endicott building a three-goal lead to take into the half up 7-4.

UNE scored four unanswered goals before the final buzzer sounded, but the deficit was too great to overcome as the Gulls' on-field celebration turned into a locker room bound procession to learn who their championship opponent would be.
Freshman attack Jackie Healy (Northborough, Mass.) erupted for a career-high five goals to lead the way for the Gulls.
