BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman midfielder Jackie Neilsen (Agawam, Mass.) has claimed Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.
In a 1-1 week (April 18-24) for the Gulls, Neilsen tallied five goals and won three draw controls to aid Endicott offensively. Neilsen also recorded her first career hat trick in the team's 19-7 win at Nichols on Wednesday and added two more goals at Roger Williams on Saturday.
Neilsen currently has compiled 14 goals and dished out two assists for 16 points during her freshman campaign with the Gulls. Additionally, Neilsen has registered 15 draw controls and caused three turnovers in 11 games played this season.
