Behind the six points from Whitney, Clayman followed with two goals while Mason, freshman Erin McCarthy (Old Lyme, Conn.), sophomore Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.) and Emily Cutting (Ferrisburgh, Vt.) all scored once. For the Colonels sophomore Kelly Parker (Branford, Conn.) paved the way with three goals while sophomore Malorie Knowlton (Norfolk, Mass.) followed with two with junior Alexis Cran (Branford, Conn.) tallying one.

Sophomore Maura Grady (Marblehead, Mass.) made nine stops in the victory while senior Christina Wallis (Peabody, Mass.) finished the night with six. Also posting a strong defensive game was Mason who recorded four ground balls with a game-high three caused turnovers.

In the first half the Gulls owned a 5-2 victory led by two from Whitney. The Colonels got on the board first off the opening drive as Knowlton made a quick play to goal for the 1-0 score. Less than a minute later the Blue and Green would fire back with four straight goals to kick the lead up to 4-1. Clayman started the scoring spree while Whitney followed on a free position goal. At the 18:55 mark Lennon recorded her lone goal of the game with McCarthy ending the scoring spree with the help of Whitney at 17:11.

After a scoreless seven minutes Curry broke the offensive rhythm for the Gulls as she found the back of the net to make it a two goal game. With 4:49 remaining in the half Whitney again took advantage of a free position opportunity to give the Gulls the 5-2 edge heading into halftime.

In the second half the Colonels came firing back with Endicott just outscoring 5-4. Curry opened up the half with three straight goals to make it a tie game by the 23:19 mark. Parker started the half with back to back goals on free position shots to make it a one goal game. Adding the game-tying goal was Knowlton on a solo play to goal for the 5-5 score.

The tie would not last for long as the Gulls finally answered back at the 19:59 mark as Mason and Lennon made a combo play to goal with Mason finding the back of the net on senior night. Whitney would follow with her third of the night for the two-goal advantage.

Cran would get the game back to 7-6 with 17:16 to go, but the Blue and Green did not allow a Curry goal for the remainder of the game while putting in three insurance goals from Whitney, Clayman and Cutting to secure the victory.
