Women's Lacrosse Claims Third Seed in Upcoming CCC Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After a conclusion of the women's lacrosse contest this evening, the Gulls have earned the #3 seed in the upcoming Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament. Endicott is set to host #6 Salve Regina on Saturday, April 25th for the Quarterfinal round.

Endicott (10-5, 6-2) and Salve Regina (6-8, 3-5) will have a 1:00 p.m. first draw at Endicott Stadium. In the pairs last meeting back on March 21st the Gulls soared to a 15-4 victory.

Claiming the first two slots in the tournament is #1 Western New England (14-2, 8-0) and #2 Roger Williams (11-4, 7-1) who have received byes in the quarterfinal round. #4 Gordon (10-7, 5-3) will host #5 University of New England (7-9, 4-4) for the second quarterfinal round on Saturday.

The winner of #3 Endicott vs. #6 Salve Regina will battle with Roger Williams while the winner of #4 Gordon vs. #5 UNE will travel to Western New England. Both Semifinal games are slated for Wednesday, April 29th with the Championship set for Saturday, May 2nd.

The Gulls enter the tournament the reigning CCC Champions, while also claiming the last nine titles.
