BEVERLY, Mass. — The No.10 nationally ranked Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Becker College, 4-1, on Friday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Ashlie Jones (Billerica, Mass.) got the Gulls on the board first just 54 seconds into the game when she put the puck home off of a scramble in front.

Endicott then got its second goal through Michaela McNamara (Warwick, R.I.) when she planted herself in front of the net and deflected a Madison Hentosh (Peabody, Mass.) shot past the goaltender to make it 2-0.

Meanwhile, in the second period, the Gulls added two more goals as Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) put home a rebound off of a McNamara shot to extend the Gulls lead to 3-1 and Jones made it 4-1 when she raced the length off the ice, grabbed the loose puck, cut across the goal-mouth, and slotted it home on the backhand side.

Meanwhile, Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.) made 22 saves in net to improve to 12-2-0 on the season.
