BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 10 nationally ranked Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Salve Regina, 3-1, on Saturday night at the Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) opened the scoring for Endicott making it 1-0 on the power play at 2:38 with her team-leading 13th goal of the season.
Then, Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt.) scored her 11th goal of the season just 16 seconds into the second period to put the Gulls ahead 2-0.
The Seahawks got one back at 16:50, but the Gulls responded right away on the power play as Gibbs notched her second goal of the game and twelfth of the season at 17:22 to put the Gulls ahead 3-1.
Meanwhile, Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.) made 10 saves to improve to 11-2-0 on the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is now 9-0-2 all-time versus Salve Regina.
- Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Michaela McNamara (Warwick, R.I.) led the Gulls with 2 assists each. Madison Hentosh (Peabody, Mass.) and Madison Huber (Pittsburgh, Pa.) posted 1 assist each.
- Gibbs for the second time this season scored 2 or more goals.
- The Gulls have won five straight games.

Endicott (17-2-0, 10-0-0 CHC) will host Becker Friday, February 7 at 4:00 PM. Salve Regina (4-14-0, 1-9-0 CHC) travels to the University of New England on Friday, January 31 at 4:00 PM.
