CHC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athletes Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) and Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) earned Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Player and Rookie of the Week awards respectively the league office announced earlier today.

Sullivan scored two goals for the Gulls in Sunday's 4-1 victory over Hamilton. She opened the scoring with a power play goal 8 minutes into the first period. The sophomore forward then put the game out of reach for the Continentals with another power play tally at the 3-minute mark of the final frame.

Meanwhile, O'Brien tied a program record, making 48 saves in the 4-1 victory over Hamilton. The first-year netminder and the Gulls' defense also denied the Continentals on all four of their power play opportunities.
