Meier, Liberty Earn CHC Weekly Awards

COLONIAL HOCKEY CONFERENCE WEEKLY AWARDS RELEASE 

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey student-athletes Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Kaylee Liberty (Arlington Heights, Ill.) earned Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Player of the Week, and Rookie of the Week respectively as announced by the conference office earlier today. 

Meier posted four points (one goal, three assists) in a 2-1 week for the Gulls. On Wednesday the senior recorded two assists in Endicott's loss to nationally ranked Norwich. On Friday she added another helper in a 4-3 overtime win over Becker. Then on Saturday, Meier tacked on the ultimate game-winner in a 3-0 win over the Hawks. Through the early part of the season, Meier leads the CHC in points (9) and assists (7). 

Meanwhile, Liberty posted two goals and two assists in the 2-1 week for Endicott. The freshman forward recorded two goals and an assist, including the game winner, in Endicott's 4-3 overtime victory against Becker on Friday. She followed that with an additional helper in Saturday's win over the Hawks. Liberty has had a strong start to the season, leading all CHC freshmen in points (6) through the first few weeks.

Endicott (5-1-0, 4-0-0 CHC) will host Salve Regina on Friday, November 22 at 7 PM.
