Jillian Gibbs Named NCAA D3 Women’s Ice Hockey Game-Winning Goals Statistical Champion

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athlete Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt.) has been named the NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Statistical Champion for game-winning goals.

In 28 games played this past season, Gibbs scored seven game-winning goals to lead all of NCAA Division III in the category.

Meanwhile, overall in her career, Gibbs has recorded a program-best 14 game-winning goals 82 games played. She registered five game-winners in 2016-17, two in 2017-18, and seven in 2018-19.

Endicott, who concluded the year ranked No. 10 in the final D3hockey.com national poll, posted a 19-5-4 overall record and 9-2-1 mark in league play en route to winning the CHC Championship over Morrisville State, 1-0, in overtime.

In the NCAA Tournament, the Gulls fell to then-No. 2/2 Plattsburgh State in their first-ever NCAA Tournament game on March 6. Plattsburgh went on to win the NCAA Division III women's ice hockey national championship.
