Women’s Ice Hockey Shuts Out Becker, 6-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team posted a 6-0 conference victory over Becker College on Saturday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Endicott received goals from Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine), Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska), Caroline Hughes (Andover, Mass.), Tabitha Franceschini (Brick, N.J.), Michaela McNamara (Warwick, R.I.), and Lexi Klein (Shoreview, Minn.) during the win. 

Meanwhile, Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.) made 15 saves to improve to 7-1-0 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 6-0-1 against Becker in the all-time series.
  • The Gulls are 7-1-1 at home this season.
  • Endicott's six goals tonight tied its season-high (6 vs. Stevenson on 12/8/18 | W, 6-0).
  • The six goals also ranked tied for second all-time in program history.
  • Peterson recorded her ninth career shutout.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (12-4-4, 4-2-1 CHC) hosts SUNY Canton for a pair of games next Friday (2/8) and Saturday (2/9) at 7 PM and 3 PM, respectively. Becker (4-13-3, 1-5-1 CHC) takes on Morrisville State next Friday and Saturday at 7:05 PM and 3:45 PM, respectively.
