2017-18 CHC ALL-CONFERENCE RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team saw four players named to the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) All-Conference teams, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon. Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska), Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt.), and Ellen Carter (Roseville, Minn.) were all named to the First Team, while Lauren Ferraiuolo (North Haven, Conn.) was named to the All-Rookie Team. Voting for All-Conference teams was done by the league's head coaches and included only conference statistics.
CHC FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE
Jade Meier | So. | Forward | Fairbanks, Alaska
Meier was tied for the leading scorer on the team with six goals, eight assists, and 14 points throughout conference play. She also netted a total of three powerplay goals, one game-winning goal, and one hat trick during CHC contests this season. This is Meier's third All-Conference accolade, as she was named to the Third Team and All-Rookie Team in 2016-17.
Jillian Gibbs | So. | Forward | Burlington, Vt.
Gibbs was one of Endicott's leading scorers in conference play with six goals and eight assists for 14 points. She also tallied one powerplay goal and one game-winner throughout 12 CHC games. Gibbs was previously named to the CHC All-Rookie Team during the 2016-17 season.
Ellen Carter | Jr. | Defense | Roseville, Minn.
Carter was a key member of a strong Endicott defense that allowed only 15 goals against during conference play. She also helped out on the offensive end of the ice as well, with two goals and seven assists for nine points in CHC contests. This is Carter's third All-Conference honor, as she earned Second Team accolades in both 2015-16 and 2016-17.
CHC ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
Lauren Ferraiuolo | Fr. | Defense | North Haven, Conn.
Ferraiuolo made an impact on defense for the Gulls during her first season as she helped the team allow only 15 goals against during conference games. She also added one goal and five assists on offense.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (18-5-2, 8-2-2 CHC) earned a bye into the CHC Semifinals to be held at Morrisville State on Saturday, March 3. The Gulls will learn who they will face after the quarterfinal round is held on Saturday, Feb. 24.
