Women’s Basketball Surges Past Curry, 74-41

MILTON, Mass. — The Endicott women's basketball team defeated Curry College, 74-41, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Wednesday night at Katz Gymnasium.

Leading 14-10 at the end of the first quarter, the Gulls opened up the contest over the next two frames outscoring Curry 38-19 to run away with the victory.

Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) led all scorers with 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field. She also added a game-high nine rebounds (tied), two assists, one steal, and a block to her stat line in the win.

Meanwhile, Kaleigh Putnam (Wallingford, Conn.) chipped in with 12 points and Mikaela Rogers (Haverhill, Mass.) had 10 points and six rebounds off the bench to highlight the rest of Endicott's double-digit scorers.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls improved to 31-7 all-time against Curry.
  • Endicott has won seven straight meetings versus the Colonels.
  • The Gulls outrebounded Curry 53-30 (largest differential in a win).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (6-8, 4-2 CCC) visits Roger Williams on Saturday, January 18 at 1 PM. Curry (4-11, 2-4 CCC) travels to Nichols this Saturday at 1 PM.
