Pratt Earns NEWBA, D3Hoops.com Postseason Honors

2018-19 D3HOOPS.COM ALL-NORTHEAST REGION RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's basketball student-athlete Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) earned New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Third Team All-Region honors and D3hoops.com Third Team All-Northeast Region accolades, as announced by NEWBA and D3hoops.com this week. 

Pratt is the first student-athlete to earn a NEWBA All-Region honor since Ashley Wright did so during the 2010-11 season and the first to earn a D3hoops.com Northeast Region honor since the 2016-17 season. She finished the season with 17.7 points per game (41.8 FG%, 36.2 3PT%, 73.1 FT%), 5.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.2 steals, and 0.50 blocks. In the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), she wrapped up the season ranked second in points (479), steals (59), field goals made (161), and points per 40 minutes (21.2), third in points per game (17.7), and fourth in free throws made (106) and three-point field goals made (51). 

Pratt hit the 1,000 career point mark this season as a junior and currently ranks 12th on the all-time scoring list with 1,038 career points. She was also named the CCC Player of the Year and to the CCC All-Conference First Team for her efforts on the court. 

The Gulls (18-9, 13-3 CCC) finished the season as the regular season champions and advanced to the CCC Championship game where they fell 69-55 to Western New England.
