2015 CCC Women's Basketball Championship Pairings Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After an up-and-down 2014-15 regular season, the Endicott women's basketball will enter the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament as the #7 seed and will hit the road for their quarterfinal game against #2 Roger Williams on Tuesday, February 24th.
Endicott (11-14, 7-11 CCC) and Roger Williams (19-6, 16-2 CCC) will tip-off at 2:00 p.m. at the Hawks Campus Recreation Center with the winner scheduled to face the winner of #3 Curry (15-10, 12-6 CCC) and #6 Salve Regina (12-13, 9-9 CCC) on Thursday. In the two regular season meetings, Roger Williams captured 71-60 and 53-45 wins and have run their recent win streak over the Gulls to four games.
The Gulls and Hawks met in the 2014 CCC Tournament Semifinals with Roger Williams advancing with a 60-57 home win to reach the conference championship. In that game, Endicott's Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) had 13 points, eight rebounds (four offensive), four assists, two steals, and two blocks while current Hawk Angelica Ariola poured in a game-high 21 points with four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
Roger Williams fell short of taking the top seed in the tournament as that honor went to the University of New England (20-5, 16-2 CCC) who will face #8 seed Wentworth (7-18, 5-13 CCC).
