BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott softball team lost to Brandeis, 6-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.
WP (9-11): Alex Cohen (West Palm Beach, Fla.) — 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 9 K
LP (1-1): Abigail Gilbert (Millbury, Mass.) — 2.1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 0 K
Brandeis won its fifth straight game behind a gem from Cohen.
The senior righty did not give up a hit and only allowed one runner to reach scoring position (5th inning, 3rd base, two outs).
Offensively, the Judges broke the game open with a three-run fifth — highlighted by a three-run homer from Haley Nash (Delmar, N.Y.).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Brandeis leads the all-time series, 8-5.
- The Judges are 14-9 on the road this season.
- Endicott is 11-3 at home this spring.
