Oram Named CCC Pitcher Of The Week

CCC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. -  Endicott softball student-athlete Maggie Oram (Lexington, Mass.) was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Oram posted a 3-0 weekly record with one save over four appearances in an 8-0 week for the Gulls, good for a 1.67 ERA. Against CCC competition, Oram turned her game up a notch, picking up complete-game victories over Western New England and Roger Williams and tossing a scoreless, hitless inning in a 5-4 win over UNE to earn a save. In 14 innings of conference play, Oram allowed just two earned runs on six hits and two walks, while fanning nine, good for a 1.00 ERA. For the entire week, Orem tossed 21 innings, allowing five earned runs on 12 hits and three walks, while striking out 21. The Gulls improved to a perfect 10-0 in CCC competition and 12-1 in their last 13 games.

Endicott (20-4, 10-0 CCC) travels to Wentworth for a conference doubleheader on Tuesday, April 16 at 4 PM.
