Gulls Picked First In CCC Preseason Poll

2019 CCC PRESEASON COACHES' POLL RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office has announced the 2019 softball preseason coaches' poll and Endicott took the top spot with 75 total points and four first-place votes. 

Western New England, the defending CCC Champion, earned second place with 72 points and three first-place votes. Salve Regina and the University of New England landed the third and fourth place spots with 58 and 57 points, respectively as well as one first-place vote each. 

Earning fifth place was Nichols with 40 points. Roger Williams picked up the sixth spot with 33 points while Gordon (31 points) and Curry (29 points) were close behind in seventh and eighth. Rounding out the poll was Wentworth with 10 points. 

The Gulls get the 2019 season started on Sunday, March 17 with a 2:15 PM contest against Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) in Florida.
