Endicott Picked Third in CCC Preseason Poll

2018 CCC PRESEASON COACHES' POLL RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office has announced the softball preseason coaches' poll and Endicott earned third place.

Defending CCC Champion Salve Regina got the top spot with 93 points and eight first-place votes. Western New England was close behind in second place with 86 points and one first-place vote. 

The Gulls secured third place with 80 points and one first-place vote, while Roger Williams followed in fourth with 77 points and the University of New England recorded 53 points for fifth place. 

Nichols took the No. 6 spot with 44 points and Curry came in seventh with 40 total points. 

Rounding out the poll were Gordon (39 points), Eastern Nazarene (26 points), and Wentworth (12 points).

Endicott (22-16, 11-7 CCC in 2017) opens the 2018 season with a 9 a.m. game against the University of Maine at Farmington on March 11 in Leesburg, Fla.
