Kissimmee, FL-- The Gulls once again pulled out a tough one run victory, this time against Rowan. Robyn Savitske pitched an outstanding game allowing no runs on only 3 hits with no walks and three strikeouts. Savitske improved to 3-0 in as many games and continues to dominate on the mound.
The Gulls gave Savitske a one run cushion in the second inning when Elyse Colby reached second on a two base error by Rowan centerfielder Katie Lavin. Megan Huckins then drove an RBI single to leftfield scoring Colby.
The win is the Gulls fourth in as many games and they improve their overall record to 4-0. The Gulls will play a triple header tomorrow facing Benedictine at 10:40am, Bridgewater State College at 12:30pm and will resume a rain-delayed game against Calvin College following the 12:30pm contest.
