Roller Hockey Captures ECRHA DIII Regional Championship

ECRHA RELEASE

FEASTERVILLE, Pa. – The Endicott club men's roller hockey team captured its first-ever Eastern College Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA) Division III regional championship this weekend behind a 4-1 record in tournament play. The Gulls defeated Temple (9-1), Yeshiva (9-2), Syracuse (8-2), and Oswego (8-0). Endicott's only loss came against Oswego (4-3) in the first game of the winners' bracket but the Gulls bounced back with dominant victories over Syracuse then Oswego to claim the cup.

Jonathan Waring (Farmington Hills, Mich.) was named the MVP of the tournament. Waring scored seven goals and dished out 11 assists in five games. Along with his postseason awards, Corey Eisenband (Larchmont, N.Y.) claimed ECRHA Division III Player of the Year accolades, Stephen Richetelli (Hamden, Conn.) earned ECRHA Division III Goaltender of the Year honors, and Matt Kaski (Sandwich, Mass.) won the skills competition.
