No. 11 Roller Hockey Bows Out Of ECRHA Regionals

FEASTERVILLE, Pa. – The No. 11 nationally ranked Endicott club roller hockey team saw its Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA) Regionals run come to an end on Saturday with a 10-2 loss to Stony Brook. Prior to their game against Stony Brook, the Gulls remained alive in the double-elimination tournament with a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory against No. 17 Penn State.

NO. 11 ENDICOTT 5, NO. 17 PENN STATE 4 (OT)

Brian Harder (Delmar, N.Y.) lifted the Gulls to the win with the game-winning power play tally at the 11:29 mark of overtime on a feed from Matt Kaski (Sandwich, Mass.).

The Gulls also saw Daniel Rustani (Lynn, Mass.) and Harder score in the first, while Corey Eisenband (Larchmont, N.Y.) potted two goals in the third to force overtime.

In goal, Matthew Klarnet (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) made 28 saves to keep Endicott alive in the tournament.

STONY BROOK 10, NO. 11 ENDICOTT 2

Eisenband and Rustani both scored but Stony Brook’s 4-0 start to the contest was too much to overcome for the Gulls.

The Gulls conclude the year with a 13-7-0-2 record.
