Men’s Cross Country Finishes Ninth At Suffolk Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's cross country team finished ninth overall out of 24 teams at the Suffolk University Invitational, hosted at Franklin Park, on Saturday evening.

Southern Maine claimed top honors in the meet behind a team score of 47 points, while Stevens (73), Colby-Sawyer (123), Eastern Connecticut State (133), and Plymouth State (134) concluded the top-5.

Individually, for the Gulls, Jack McGuire (Hopkinton, Mass.) headlined the squad with a personal best time of 28:00.1 to finish 32nd overall on the 8-kilometer course.

Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.) followed in 42nd place (28:21.4), while Zachary Heffernan (Biddeford, Maine) was 48th overall (28:28.9), Adam Germaine (Guilford, Conn.) ranked 60th (29:01.4) and Marcus Poccia (West Greenwich, R.I.) rounded out the top-5 in 61st place (29:03.4).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott will compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Saturday, November 2 at Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island – hosted by Roger Williams University – at 12 PM.
