Men's Cross Country Places Fourth At Pop Crowell Invitational

WENHAM, Mass. – Led by a seventh place finish from Joshua Knight (Oxted, England), the Endicott men's cross country team finished in fourth place overall out of 17 teams at the Pop Crowell Invitational on Saturday morning at Gordon College.

The University of New England secured the top spot by scoring 25 points, while Wentworth followed in second place (57 points), and Eastern Connecticut State finished third (80 points). Meanwhile, Endicott ranked fourth overall with 117 points and Roger Williams rounded out the top-five with 145 points.

Knight highlighted the day for the Gulls finishing seventh overall with a time of 27:49.8 on the 8-kilometer course.

Endicott's remaining top-5 runners included Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.) who placed 16th overall in a time of 28:25.8. Adam Germaine (Gulliford, Conn.) also crossed the line in 20th place (28:45.2), while Marcus Poccia (West Greenwich, R.I.) was the Gulls' fourth runner in 32nd place (29:14.5). Jack McGuire (Hopkinton, Mass.) rounded out the top-5 in 44th place (29:59.2).

Endicott will travel to Brunswick, Maine for the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday, September 29th at 2:30 PM.
