
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team fell to Regis, 3-2, by scores of 22-25, 25-17, 24-26, 25-21, and 12-15 on Wednesday night at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Corey Klass Jr. (Beverly, Mass.) paced the Gulls with 13 kills on 26 swings (.385) alongside two block assists.
Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) also notched 12 kills, seven digs, and one block assist.
Matty Tiernan (Bradford, R.I.) posted a team-high 21 assists, while Dan Battista (Bethlehem, N.Y.) contributed 19 in the Gulls' 6-2 system.
Adin Jepsky (San Jose, Calif.) headlined the defense with a team-high/career-high 18 digs (27-for-28 serve receive).
Tonight's back-and-forth match featured 37 ties (14-7-8-2-6) and 15 lead changes (2-4-5-2-2), highlighted by the fifth set with six ties and two lead changes.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Despite the loss, Endicott leads the all-time series, 21-2.
- Jepsky has posted 10 or more digs in back-to-back matches.
- Regis picked up its first road victory of the season.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (1-6) travels to Emerson on Tuesday, February 4 at 7 PM. Regis (3-3) will host SUNY Potsdam on Friday, January 31 at 6 PM.
