Men’s Volleyball Downs Bard, 3-0

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Bard, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon by scores of 25-12, 25-18, and 25-21 at the Stevenson Athletic Center.

Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) and Luke Madson (Nazareth, Pa.) tied for the team-high in kills with eight apiece.

Jake Laborde (Brookline, N.H.) also added seven putaways on 15 swings (.333), while Dean Warner (Kinderhook, N.Y.) contributed six kills in the victory.

Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.) facilitated most of the offense with a match-high 15 assists (.556).

Today's match featured 17 ties (3-8-6) and 10 lead changes (2-4-4).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 6-0 all-time against Bard (five straight shutouts).
  • Madson finished with a career-high/match-high-tying seven digs (9-10 serve receive).
  • The Gulls are 5-2 on the road this season.

Endicott (8-7, 2-0 NEVC) hosts Buffalo State on Friday, March 8 at 6 PM. Bard (6-10, 0-1 NEVC) visits NVU-Johnson for a pair of matches on Saturday, March 9 at 11 AM/1 PM.
