No. 10 Wentworth Slips Past Men's Volleyball, 3-2

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team was edged by No. 10 nationally ranked Wentworth, 3-2, by scores of 25-22, 25-27, 20-25, 25-22, and 10-15 in a high-energy non-conference clash on Tuesday night at MacDonald Gymnasium.

Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) recorded a match-high/career-high 28 kills (.455) and 10 digs to highlight the Gulls.

Mason Mallory (Playa del Rey, Calif.) also reached double digits in kills with 19, alongside 12 digs, while Spencer Capps (Lake Bluff, Ill.) chipped in with nine kills and eight digs. 

Meanwhile, Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.) facilitated the offense behind a match-high/career-high 54 assists and registered 11 digs. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 24-11 all-time against Wentworth. 
  • The match featured 42 total ties and 15 total lead changes. 
  • The Leopards are 7-3 on the road this season.
  • Wentworth has won four in a row. 
  • Robert produced his second double-double of the season, while Mallory and Emenaker both notched their first double-doubles of the year, respectively.
