No. 12 Elms Holds Off No. 8 Men’s Volleyball, 3-1

CHICOPEE, Mass. — The No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott men's volleyball team fell to No. 12 Elms, 3-1, by scores of 17-25, 18-25, 25-22, and 23-25 on Tuesday night in conference action at Picknelly Arena.

Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) notched a team-high 15 kills, while Jeremy Doski (Sandy Hook, Conn.) contributed a double-double via 27 assists and 10 digs to highlight the Gulls.

Endicott also received nine kills apiece from Donovan Dey (Fairport, N.Y.), Jacob Newman (Chester, N.H.), and Seth Braquet (Destrehan, La.), respectively, and a season-high/match-high 17 digs by Ryan Healy (Fair Lawn, N.J.) in the loss.

Tied 20-20 in the third set, Endicott used a 5-1 run — highlighted by kills from Lipton and Dey — to force set four. Unfortunately, despite a back-and-forth set, the Gulls saw set four slip away late as Elms notched back-to-back kills to pivot a 20-19 lead into a three-point advantage that was never relinquished.
