No. 7 Men's Volleyball Sweeps Dean & Lesley In Saturday Tri-Match

BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 7 nationally ranked Endicott men's volleyball team claimed a pair of 3-0 conference victories over Dean College and Lesley University on Saturday afternoon at MacDonald Gymnasium.

In their first match of the day, the Gulls defeated Dean by scores of 25-6, 25-9, and 25-9, while in their second match, Endicott breezed past Lesley by scores of 25-8, 25-10, and 25-8.

NO. 7 ENDICOTT 3, DEAN 0 (25-6, 25-9, 25-9)

The Gulls were led by four different student-athletes who registered four or more kills.

Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) paced the group with five, while Matt Bozek (Exeter, N.H.), Donovan Dey (Fairport, N.Y.), and Tim Fieseler (Bridgewater, N.J.) each added four kills.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Doski (Sandy Hook, Conn.) ran the offense with match-high 21 assists.

Ryan Healy (Fair Lawn, N.J.) also picked up a match-leading seven digs in the three sets.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 4-0 against Dean all-time.
  • The Gulls collected 15 services aces on the afternoon, third most as a team this season.
  • The Gulls hit .553 as a team in the match. It marks the third highest hitting percentage as a team on the season.

NO. 7 ENDICOTT 3, LESLEY 0 (25-8, 25-10, 25-8)

Much like in the first match, Endicott saw five student-athletes post five kills against Lesley.

This time, Conner Holland (Derry, N.H.), Nick Hayes (Salem, N.H.), Jay McGhee (Signal Hill, Calif.), Lipton, and Doski spread around the offense with five kills each. 

Doski continued to be the main playmaker for the Gulls with a match-high 28 assists.

Defensively, 10 different Gulls picked up a dig, with Healy leading the way with eight digs.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 24-0 all-time against Lesley.
  • The Gulls have won eight matches in a row.

No. 7 Endicott (19-3, 10-0 NECC) travels to Lesley University on Wednesday, March 27 at 8 PM.
