BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Lipton powered Endicott to a 3-0 win over Southern Vermont last Wednesday behind an 11 kill (.692%) performance to go along with two service aces, three digs, and two block assists.
Today's announcement marks the second time this season that Lipton has swept both weekly awards. Overall this year, Lipton has earned Rookie of the Week accolades four times and Player of the Week honors twice.
