BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman outside Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office yesterday. Today's NECC Rookie of the Week announcement marks his third career honor this season.
Last week against Newbury, Lipton notched eight kills (4.00 k/s), a .600 hitting percentage, two service aces, and five digs in a 3-0 win over the Nighthawks. The rookie was a key factor as the Gulls won their fifth straight match and remain perfect in NECC play at 4-0 overall.
