BROOKLINE, Mass. - No. 15 Newbury College posted game scores of 30-26, 30-23, and 30-22 as the Nighthawks collected an important North East Collegiate Volleyball Association win over Endicott College on Monday evening in Brookline, Massachusetts.

With the win, Newbury improves to 19-5 overall and 6-1 in the NECVA New England division. The loss sets Endicott back to 9-8 overall and 5-3 in NECVA New England play.

The Gulls were led by Jordan Durant (Honolulu, Hawaii/Maryknoll School) as he continued his strong season. The 6'1" outside notched 15 kills in the losing effort. A.J. Witkofsky (Scotia, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) was also big upfront, nailing 12 kills and adding six blocks for the Blue and Green. Ben Foster (Penfield, N.Y./Penn) handed out 32 assists and Dan Coleman (Millis, Mass./Millis) posted 16 digs for the visitors.

Endicott looks to rebound on Tuesday as they will host the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in a non-conference contest. Match time is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Beverly, Mass.
